Dear DTM Community Members,
This year, as ASME IDETC has gone virtual, we will also be hosting the DTM
Technical Committee (TC) Meeting virtually. This will be done over Zoom,
from 6-8 pm Eastern Time on Tuesday, August 18th. You can register for the
Zoom event using the below link:
We are also investigating possible mechanisms to provide some form of
informal social interaction corresponding to the usual DTM Happy Hour right
before or immediately after the TC meeting. We will follow up with details
on that closer to the meeting date if we can find something suitable. Those
who wish to be available to partake in that may also want to reserve 5-6pm
ET before the meeting.
Two items that we would like to solicit your input on at this time are:
1. If you have any proposals for agenda items that you would like the TC
to consider for wider group discussion or voting.
2. Any announcements that you would like us to include in the pre-read
materials that we will circulate ahead of the meeting. Historically, this
has included items like special issue announcements, related future
conferences or workshops, job openings, and similar.
If you would like to contribute either of those types of items for
consideration or distribution at the meeting, please email them to me by
Friday, August 7th.
All the best, and I look forward to seeing those who are able to make it at
the (virtual) TC meeting.
