How is the column defined (i.e. CHAR(3))? What is the database
character set and what is the three-letter code?

Subject: [askdba] Excel (csv file) and sqlldr(urgent, going mad here)

Hi guys,
I wrote a package which installs some data loaded from a csv file format

This process used to work fine...no problem.

The format of the data is fine...but I can't now loaded using sqlldr..

I don't know what could be wrong...

It is complaining that the value inserted is too large while the value
itself is only 3 letter code for that column...

Has anyone experienced this before...?

I am on Oracle9iR2 Patch 4...

If one wants to try it out for me, please let me know...I'll send you

Table ddl, ctl file and the csv file.
