I just put out a tow request for Thu. Looks like a moderate wave day.
Winds at 18k are 40-50 knots WSW, but might be a blue wave day. The strong
winds start around 8k-10k so it might not be as easy to enter the wave as
starting off ridge soaring the Dogskins, but there is moderate thermals
forecast too, so I'm hoping to be able to thermal into the wave or thermal
into the rotor and into the wave. Surface winds shouldn't be excessive at
any part of the day with WSW winds in the low teens. Hope somebody else
wants to join in on the fun. I'll let everyone know if I have a confirmed
towpilot.
