Thanks guys. Yeah, the pilots down at Minden got a much earlier start, but landed much earlier than me. If I would have landed 10 minutes later I would have been derigging in total darkness. Just looking at it, where the skysight wave map said there would be wave looks pretty accurate from my experience yesterday. Probably useful on blue wave days, but yesterday the lift was so well marked it was completely unnecessary and you could even tell where the strong and weak spots in the wave just by looking at how built up the rotor clouds were.

Great flight Omri !!!

In Minden I could hear the tows starting before 9 am so they got a BIG jump on you.

At the dentist office my window faced straight North so could see the rotor clouds lined up over Washoe Valley. Grrrr !!!

James Lee mentioned on his flight that SKySight was scary accurate pre loaded on his phone showing where to fly in the wave. I assume he meant computer. This might be worth trying as Naviter now has this feature on the Oudie. Especially if its a blue wave day.

Thermal flying is pretty dismal for the rest of this week this and the next wave day is Sunday ! Also work day of course. Drats !

    Hey Guys,

    cost
me 2 hours as I launched after 13:15 instead of the planned 11:30
    (aka
the earliest Gene could show up to tow). Gene and I were not far from

ditching and pissing off your dentist or even having your teeth

it was that good. If it weren't for the morning showers delaying my
