I actually created my own waypoints file from a combination of the FAA's
NFDC database, the original air sailing database and mountain peak and
other waypoints I've added myself. I surveyed every landable airport via
satellite views on google earth (better than nothing, but not as good as
seeing it first hand). On my personal database all airports with runways
narrower than 60 feet that have edge lights have been marked unlandable.
I'm happy to share it with anybody who wants it.

Omri it might be a better plan to go over our waypoint files next winter and check our files for errors. Then make a new Air Sailing OLC pilots waypoint file for all of our pilots to share. It is is a big task to maintain waypoint files but it can be divided up in blocks to check. 0-30 miles 30-60 miles 60-90 miles etc. My own file has been revised 3 times this year due to errors. What do you think ?

I was checking my proposed 500k fai triangle on google maps and
found the coordinates in my waypoint file for the second turn were
not correct. First turn point USMC strip, second turn point is a
dirt strip South of Gabbs. The correct coordinates are N 38 50 21
W 117 56 42 . Nice to have correct coordinates if you are low
and cannot make the Gabbs airport. Still waiting for a good day
with light winds in the forecast to try the flight.
