Dear Purnima,
We have been in a bit of a spin because this a complex and difficult engagement
that one has taken up - that is why couldn't get in touch with you after our
phone conversation when Sadhna was in Bhopal.
Am sharing the proposal note that will provide an idea about the perspective
and scope of engagement. Do suggest how we can collaborate on any of the
components/geography. Also, do share the initiatives that KHOJ has been
involved in. While we have set up a skeletal office in Dharni in the quarters
that Tribal Dev Dept has provided, we didn't get too much time in Ashram Shalas
because of exams and then the summer vacation. Full-fledged activities will
begin only in next session as we are holding trainings in Nashik and Nagpur
region during summer months.
Also copying to some of the colleagues, part of the Ashram Shala team. Akanksha
is based in Dharni, part of our local core team. Madhav, Anish and Uma are
coordinating the entire initiative.

Good to hear from you! This means you are now at Goa with the new IIT set up.
Recently we have taken up a complex and challenging engagement of impacting
science education in 400 Ashram Shalas in Maharashtra run by Tribal Dept,
spread over about 20 districts. We had a large training in Amravati in Dec-end
and three large trainings are planned in Nashik in April second half. Reminds
of HSPT days!! Have attached the proposal note and work plan. Do go through and
share advice/ideas/suggestions/conta cts.
