[ashram-shala] Re: Chemistry Bal Vaigyanik chapters for teachers' training and in current batch of translations

It is difficult, there is not much overlap, there was a make-shift chapter
on atoms in the final revision of BV, what about doing that?
Also, Sushil and I had worked on a write-up for the old chapter on metals
in MP textbooks, am attaching the English version. Don't have a soft-copy
of the Hindi version, Sushil might.
Food is a good idea.

I agree - some parts of Our Food/Hamara Bhojan have Chemistry ideas.

Narmada took up Our Soil - which has some concepts from Chemistry.

I did not speak with Nanda Khare - maybe Madhav bhai could ask him?

Separation - should be added to the training. Aamod is trying for
translation of this one.

Nutrition has one component that is akin to chemistry.

Anything else Uma?
Rajesh

PS - Would Nanda Khare pitch in with another chapter?

Dear all (and especially Uma),

The chemistry component almost absent in the current batch of
translations of Bal Vaigyanik chapters.

Uma suggested BV 6 Chapter 14 - Separations for translation as there was
some overlap with a chapter from Maharashtra 7th textbook, "Elements,
compounds and mixtures". And also "Metals and Non-metals from 8th
Maharashtra textbook.

Is there any other Chemistry-related chapter from Bal Vaigyanik that
should be translated before the workshop?

Or other resource material that should be translated into Marathi before
the workshop (some excerpt from "The story of atomic theory of matter"?)?

Anish
