Computational Biologist:
A Senior Staff Scientist position is immediately available for highly motivated
candidates with a background in Computational Biology to investigate the
mechanisms of smoking-related diseases and to identify potential biomarkers.
Our biomarker research spans several diverse areas including transcriptomics,
epigenomics, proteomics, metabolomics and analysis specific pathways, and
incorporates clinical and non-clinical projects.
The incumbent is expected to actively collaborate, plan and drive a research
program. The chosen individual will have strong understanding in the broad
area of computational biology, preferably with expertise in biomarkers. Prior
experience in Omics research, emerging technologies including NGS and
integrated data analysis will be a plus.
Candidates must have a PhD degree and have experience in computation
biology/statistics/biology or related areas of sciences. Candidates with MS
degree in computational biology/related areas with demonstrated experience are
also encouraged to apply.
Systems Biologist:

smoking-related diseases and to identify potential biomarkers. Our biomarker

proteomics, metabolomics and analysis specific pathways, and incorporates
clinical and non-clinical projects.
The incumbent is expected to actively collaborate, plan and drive a research
program. The chosen individual will have strong background in the broad area
of bioinformatics and ability to build and utilize various bioinformatic tools
for the analysis and discovery of biomarkers. Prior experience in Omics
research, bioinformatic analyses of diverse data sets, and integrating and
interpreting those findings is a plus.
Candidates must have a PhD in bioinformatics/ biology/ computational biology/
with 2-5 years of demonstrated expertise in bioinformatics/ related areas.
Candidates with MS degree in computational biology/related areas with
demonstrated experience are also encouraged to apply.
