annual conference to be held very soon at the Avantidrome in Cambridge on 28-29

SESNZ Annual Conference
Changing Perspectives on Active Health and Human Performance, 28-29 October,
Abstracts due before 16 September
Professor Alan St Clair Gibson (Zig), Former Head of Medicine at the University
of Free State in South Africa and recently appointed Dean of Health, Sport and
Human Performance at the University of Waikato.
Professor Damian Farrow of the Institute of Sport, Exercise and Active Living,
Victoria University in Melbourne and the Australian Institute of Sport.
Invited speakers will include Dr Stacy Sims, Associate Professor Jim Cotter,
Associate Professor Mike Hamlin and Dr Daniel Plews.
Please submit abstracts before Friday 16 September and notification of
acceptance will be shortly after. Peer reviewed abstracts will be published in
the New Zealand Journal of Sports Medicine.

Discounted fees to the conference are available to members. Please renew your
membership or join SESNZ through our website. Please note that those who hold
SESNZ accreditation must be full members.
If you plan on attending the conference you can pay your membership at the same
time as you register, or if you are unable to attend the conference you can
join as a member only.
Annual General Meeting
The AGM will take place during the conference where voting will take place for
membership of the Board. This will include five elected (5) persons and up to
two (2) co-opted persons.
We would like to invite members to nominate for positions on the SESNZ Board
and advise any remits or General Business to be considered at the AGM. ALL
Board Nominations, Remits and General Business are to be emailed

Friday 16 September 2016 (attached is a Board nomination form). Any Remits or
