Thank you Steve and Chris. So odd, not to say careless, that I thought
I'd proved something impossible.
However there remains a question because when I prepend the directory
the file is temporarily in (a Transient one like Chris's) I get a
path+filename that is 'only' 207 characters long. Surely that's within
the limit? Obviously not.
Anyway, it's not an ArtWorks problem, so that's good to know.
