No, it was the other way round - there was an FAQ entry on the support page describing how to tweak EPS files *exported* from ArtWorks to make Illustrator accept them. This information is no longer there because it is not relevant any more. The necessary changes have been integrated into ArtWorks a long time ago.
Aha ... so, what Richard needs is to get his AI files into IllustratorEPS v3 format, tho' there may be some loss of information.
