Yes, confirmed (with a minor clarification: you mean "file name", not 
"title" - the title of the PDF file as stored inside the PDF does not 
matter). Very odd.

Another solution is to switch off the new 2.X2 feature "Select page 
range" in PDFImport choices, which seems to be responsible. You can 
then import multi-page documents with hard spaces in the file name, 
but without the new page range selection dialogue.
