you mentioned that moving the object with a mouse was difficult due to the
amount of points in such a small area and not being able to grab the line
without accidently selecting a point.... so by selecting anchors and
grabbing everything you can drag the whole shape to its new destination
(anchors are not confined to single lines)
sometimes I have done just that using the anchors in a set of letters that
are too small
out of curiosity what are you creating that requires such tiny detail?
