Hmmm. I wonder why Amstrad isn't listed... (I think the clue is in

I can understand the reaction. :-) But, no, the real reason is that we
have no documents they produced! As you'd expect, I'm not a fan of Amstrad,
but they are a part of the history, so should be represented and the info
preserved, etc.
Over the years I have collected a number of manuals, circuit diagrams,
brochures, etc, for many hi-fi products and makes. But this still omits
many makes, etc. For example, TripleTone, Dulci, Pye, etc, etc...
Similarly, other active members of the Society have their own collections,
each with a different focus, but with their own gaps.
This is why we have been actively seeking more examples. And why we've set
up a contact / upload page at
http://www.torrens.org.uk/ukhhsoc/upload.html
so that people can provide more documents.
I'm currently alternating between scanning documents I've had for years,
and others that people have loaned or donated. But there are still many
gaps. In some cases, though, I do have documents on other companies but
haven't yet had the 'round tuits' to add them - e.g. Sonotone.
FWIW some may recognise the 'Torrens' part of the above url. This is
Richard T. who is known to RO users. But who also used to work for Sinclair
Radionics, and was involved in their hi-fi products. His help (and that of
Richard Brown of Orpheus) have been wonderful in providing a platform for
this work.
If anyone out there has any old hi-fi documents, please let me know by
direct email or via the above page. :-)
