Assuming the final goal would be an 8" case bonded finocyl with Amarillo Blue
derivative or Slow Honey Badger.
What would be the minimum grain diameter for characterizing the propellant?
What would be the minimum motor diameter to test burn?
Intuitively burning 8" motors would be the most accurate and most expensive.
Where 38 or 54 would be the less expensive and possible the most error prone.
My approach would be to characterize the propellant with 75mm; and do test
burns on a 6" dial motor.
