One confirmed tested in Los Angeles, a young woman. She is doing okay, but
still mostly disabled and in major discomfort. She is on day 17 now.

300M, that's about one in a thousand nationwide. Even doubling that 300K
to WAG the number of likely but untested cases at this point, one in five
hundred is still considerably larger than the average person's social
circle (150-200 people, per that unimpeachable source Wikipedia.)
Add to that highly uneven geographic distribution - over 1/3rd of the US
total are in New York State - and I'm not surprised that most of us don't
know anyone with it yet. Long may it stay that way.

Was mostly ignoring the extended Dread C-Word discussion, as it was
revisiting what I'd already thoroughly been through in February in
another venue replete with sometimes-overhasty smart people.
And, I thought it was too quiet. I apparently got unsubscribed from the
list, midmorning of 3/27. Hadn't sent anything in three days and got no
notice, so it was unlikely an intentional correction. Very odd.
Rejoined no problems yesterday. So, I'm baaa-ack! Miss me?
