My guess is that it is hanging when closing a USB device - possibly a
printer. If it always/usually happens you may be able to track down
which device is causing the problem - not that it helps.
The only USB devices connected to this ArmX6 are keyboard and mouse,
both wired, plugged in separately.
Elsewhere on the network, though, I have an old HP Laserjet 1100
connected to the Armini via the USB-to-parallel software (by Ian
Hamilton). The ArmX6 can access this as a shared printer. Might that
be relevant in the arrested shutdown? (Just to be clear, the Armini
in the office stays on round the clock; I shut down the ArmX6 at night
because it's in a bedroom.)
I should say that the arrested shutdown happens only intermittently,
like the arrested boot in the other thread.
