I *think* the icons shown are 16 colour versions and appear to be the
!Sprites not !Sprites22 version.  It may be that John screen-grabbed in 16
colours to save space.

You hit it on the nail, Andrew. After I dropped from 16M colours to a 
shocking 16 colours, I saw the same looking icons as John's image.

As an aside I had Pinboard2 running and it promptly crashed the Pinboard 
after I changed to 16 colours.
