Sorry Andrew, but... I'm happy to stop now provided first that people
aren't dismissed with the inappropriate 'FUD' label. As someone with a
background in RF I know the problems will occur. (As measured and
documented in BBC engineering white papers in the past, for example.) Just
a matter of circumstances as to when and how often.
The fact is that the Homeplug standard is an internationally approved
thing, which was created in consultation with (at least some) amateur
radio bodies and other consortiums.
Well, hams tell me that main amature organisations have opposed them, and
still do IIUC. Being 'consulted' doesn't always mean 'heeded'. :-)
