On the ARMini I haven't had the freezes I mentioned for a wee while, certainly for most of Dec, although I haven't been using it so much recently (it's set up in the spare room and we have had visitors over Xmas), but I believe it might be caused by the USBdrivers in some way. There seems to be no way of bringing the keyboard/mouse back to life, and yet as you say, apps continue to run, and the machine can be accessed over ShareFS and files transferred etc with no problem. It is obviously not the complete USB system if USB connected drives still function. My keyboard and mouse are connected to the rear usb ports, while all the drives are connected to the OTG hub. If it happens again, I'll try transferring the K/M to the front ports. > Remember this machine was bashed round during transit, and I had > to reconnect the SSD disc. Maybe Andrew should think about the carrier he uses. Mine had had quite a bash when it arrived - sufficient to shear two of the plastic pins holding the front panel on, and the HD had also partly come adrift (it was secured by sticky pads). Since a bit of superglue seemed to put things to right (on the FP pins, not the HD!), I never followed it up. -- Chris Johnson --- To alter your preferences or leave the group, visit //www.freelists.org/list/armini-support List-related queries to support@xxxxxxxxxxxx
