Hi folks,
As a result of work on the RK3399 platform (Pinebook Pro etc) John
had cause to "re-sync" his codebase to the main tree this week,
and as a result did a full build of all the platforms he maintains.
Net result is a bevy of new iMX6 (and derivative) ROMs.
I have installed this on my own machine, and all is working well,
but as usual, I'm marking them "beta" initially.
Thanks for this update, Andrew.
I have noticed a couple of issues, one of which means I'll be
reverting to the 01 Feb 2022 ROM (and can't routinely test the beta
TCP/IP stack - see below).
Firstly, after performing the upgrade the internet setup failed:
Machine startup has not completed successfully:'Route:add net
default: gateway 192.168.xxx.1:Network is unreachable'
I eventually tracked this down to having the IP address set to be
obtained 'from hostname'. I had to change 'from hostname' to
'manually' and explicitly enter the IP address to avoid that error.
I've noticed a discussion about this on the ROOL forum.
This is stopping me from using the new TCPIP stack too.
