Having, as in a previous post, been able to solve my problems with NetSurf
and PDF coexisting since downloading the new OS, I'm now keen to try the
newer version of !PDF, but can't remember its name. When I first got this
ARMX6 this new app wouldn't run for me, just leaving ceaseless hourglass
activity. If someone can tell me where to find it, I'd like to give it a
try. I did try Google, but not knowing its name doesn't help, and I can't
find it on !Store. Any links would be gratefully received here.

I think it must have been on my original ARMX6 hard disc, but I must have
deleted it.

PDFtest?

Latest alpha version of !PDF

This version, 3.03. 1.25alpha 9, is not suitable for older hardware.

I've now discovered a gotcha with !PDFtest. I have a whole lot of PDF
files, in connection with being the membership secretary of the local
branch of a national charity. I produce these with the invaluable
PrintPDF, and they are all password-protected. !PDF opens them without
a problem, but !PDFtest disappears from the icon bar the moment I
click on one of these files, and this is followed by an unceasing
hourglass, needing alt-break, and before I can do anything else
constructive I have to shut down and re-start.

I'm not sure where and to whom I should report this; it's certainly
getting off-topic for here.

Best wishes,

Peter.
