Similar problems have been mentioned before. The usual solution is to
increase the wait time in !Boot.Choices.Boot.PreDesk.!InitPause. I
recently had to change the last line to A%-INKEY100 to give extra time for
the router to respond to the call from the ARMX6.

I changed the delay to 100 from 50 as you suggest above, but it hasn't
made any difference. My experience with "contacting the DHCP server" is
that if connection hasn't been made within a few seconds, it isn't going
to connect - I can't sit there and wait for ages wondering whether it will
connect.
Richard, I have swapped network cables, but this makes no difference. The
other cable I tried has worked fine in the past and does now with my
Wife's laptop.
I have Reporter running during boot and the relevant lines are
"18:32:16.48 Echo Contacting DHCP server for iMX6 interface
18:32:16.48 DHCPExecute -e -b -w -p eth0
18:32:39.20 IconSprites
Resources:$.ThirdParty.OmniClient.LanManFS.Sprites"
I have included the last line as it shows the time elapsed before the next
task is started and it shows that the router wasn't contacted successfully
as there should be lines between the second and third lines above giving
the result of contacting the router including it's LAN address.
Are the parameters in the second line optimal?
