I replaced !+Resource with a version from the ROOL website and no longer get the error line in the predesktop phase of booting. I think the previous !+Resource was from SP3. My settings, like the digital display of the Alarm clock and the size of the RAM disc, are being applied when I fire up my BB. As far as the Uenv/txt file is concerned, I now see that it was copied to the SD card. I don't know why I missed seeing it before. So the remaining puzzle is why I am getting these 600 odd lines at the beginning of Reporter.
