Doug,

I have resolved several problems, but I still get the 600 odd lines of
of the form "20000014 448 Alloc" at the beginning of the Report
file written by Reporter.

I replaced !+Resource with a version from the ROOL website and no
longer get the error line in the predesktop phase of booting. I think
the previous !+Resource was from SP3.

My settings, like the digital display of the Alarm clock and the size
of the RAM disc, are being applied when I fire up my BB.

As far as the Uenv/txt file is concerned, I now see that it was copied
to the SD card. I don't know why I missed seeing it before.

So the remaining puzzle is why I am getting these 600 odd lines at the
beginning of Reporter.
