All that faster does is to reduce the amount of information written
into the Filer_Action display. In the era of the A300, this could
have a significant effect since the writing of the data into the
window could take some time, which would be taking time slices from
the actual copying process. On modern hardware, this part of the
overall process will be much quicker, and the 'rate-determining step'
is more likely to be the speed of the network transfers.
