Gentlemen and Val Keahon,
My emails go to Val for John/Dougie; Thursday at Tober's is going to be a
great beginning to our reunion. Many thanks to Tober and the guys preparing
a Mexican Feast. We have 20 guys golfing on Friday at Ventana Canyon; first
tee time is 9:30 AM so get there early if you survive Thursday night!
Saturday, we have 28 golfers and 7 teams competing in the scramble; first
tee time is 10:10 AM so be on time. We have prizes for closest to the pin,
longest drive and Top Team. Handicaps are still in the works and there will
be room for negotiations or bribes. Stan Spackeen has assumed the role that
Louie did for so many years. I have decided to name the tournament the Louie
Invitational, he was my little brother.
Dinner Saturday night for 40 of us will be outside at "Contigo" which in
Spanish means "with you". They have put together a great menu; the cost
including gratuity will be $75 per person. If you attend baseball, then make
it $80. Stan has got us the baseball tickets; so if you go to the Friday
night game but not Saturday dinner then give Stan $5 please. Payment
information to follow, however cash is always preferred. May do Venmo or
Zelle as well.
Charlie Finlan has some cool t-shirts celebrating our 38th Pike reunion; you
can pick one up for $20 if you want at the Thursday night BBQ or golf;
purchase is optional but the design sounds pretty cool.
Look forward to seeing everyone; we even got a few guys that just announced
they were coming this week. ALFREDO in the house!
