Yep, special initiate in 2012.  Brent Seebohm was the chapter advisor
then and worked with the athletic department.  He knew and recruited Lute
when the student government abandoned the CatWalk, which was an annual walk
to raise money in memory of Bobby Olson through the Cancer Center at UMC.
The chapter picked up the philanthropy and Lute was excited to join the
chapter.  I was part of the initiation ceremony and you could tell Lute
really enjoyed the experience and it meant a lot given how our chapter was
stepping up in his late wife's name.



I'll remember him fondly, not only for his impact on the school we all
love, but for the time I got to spend with him.  He was a better man than
he was a basketball coach.



Attached is a picture of us in our Garnet and Gold ties after initiation.

I saw this article in the Shield and Diamond and had the sudden urge to
pull the Author into an all-night lineup (this would be relentless).

The fake news just won’t give up this year and keeps trying to change
