Graeme,

here is bit of a ti1 file generated by targen. I've tried to convert line 1 XYZ value to its RGB counterpart and vice-versa using the Lindbloom calculator here (http://www.brucelindbloom.com/) and I can't get the same result as targen give here. I also tried by other means but all I have is based on Lindbloom equations.

The closest I get is 0.950470, 100, 1.088830, this using D65 ref white and RGB 1 1 1 on the calculator.

Any idea why?

Any suggestion on which profile and parameter to use with xicclu maybe to generate the same data as below?

Your suggestion of using this command for generating o sequence of 30 Neutrals from L* 1 to L* 30 doesn't quite get me what I want, yes I get 30 gray patches but from RGB 0 to 1.

targen -d3 -c sRGB.icm -e0 -B0 -f0 -n30 outfile

Thanks,

Yves
