Hi,

your problem could depend on the screensaver you are using. It might alter the video LUTs e.g. for a fade or other graphical effect. There's no easy workaround that I know of other than using a screensaver which doesn't exhibit the problem, or turning it off altogether, just using the energy saving options. You could also try to set up the task scheduler to run "dispwin -V <your_monitor.icm> || dispwin -c <your_monitor.icm>" in regular intervals, with the window set to "minimized".

hi,

I had this same problem under linux, but the posts on this list made the problem disappear. Now I've calibrated win xp pro sp3 with argyll and spyder2 with the help of dispcalGUI and the result is much better than spyder2express. Dispcalgui is set to startup, I removed the spyder2 lut-loader from there, set the system profile to argyll created profile. The colours are correct after boot, but when windows screensaver exits, the colours are off, and I have to manually run startup to get the colours right. Is there a trick, so that every time screensaver gets off, the colours wouldn't change?
