Hi Gerhard,
yes it does to a degree. During the calibration it
adjusts the integration time to achieve a signal level within
a certain target window. If it can't achieve this, the calibration
fails. Scan mode is different though, as it sets a the integration
time to give a maximum sample rate. The effective integration time
in for a scan will depend on the patch length and the sweep speed
(ie. the number of sample values averaged).
