Hello Graeme,
Thanks for the fast answer.

Is the white patch in ti3 data the patch of the lightest patch of the neutral scale of an IT8 chart, or is the white patch the patch with R255 G255 B255 (or R100 G100 B100 with scaling) after extrapolating this color from the original ti3 data ?

If it is the last case, how can i identify the XYZ value ?

e.g.
- calculate a scanner icc profile from given ti3 data
- take ti2 for rgb printer profiling with R255 G255 B255 (or R100 G100 B100 after scaling) - use fakeread with scanner icc profile to create new ti3 with R255 G255 B255 (or R100 G100 B100 after scaling)

Thanks and kind regards
Jan-Peter

To have a better idea about -U /scale:/ is there a scaling value where
-U /scale: /behaves like -u ?

Hi Jan-Peter,
yes, but the exact value will depend on the device. If you
can identify the white patch XYZ value, then the equivalent
scale factor should be 100/White_Y.
