The idea is simple:
A) Convert using sRGB from Device to Lab
B) Convert using sRGB from Lab to Device
Compare for yourself the result. It is as though the data was never
converted. Therefore, the idea of a "nul" conversion.
It is often used in some RIP where ICC profile support is limited.
