Hi,
If I run spotread -H …, it gets the high res 3.3ms step mode (removing -H
prints out fewer steps in the spectrum, so -H seems clearly to work for
spotread).
However if I run dispcal -H …., it reports "high resolution ignored -
instrument doesn't support high res. mode"
Wondering if this is expected?
The high res. mode is only supported in emissive type modes with the i1p3. So if
DisplayCAL has it in reflective mode (which is the default), high res. will
fail.
(And i1p3 high res. mode is not going to be as accurate as it is
for the i1p1 and i1p2, because there's no way of correcting for
individual diffraction gratings.)
Cheers,
Graeme Gill.
