Serious overkill, I'm sure, but only takes a moment....
That's not quite what I mean. When the i1Pro driver does a reflective
measurement, it first does a black calibration in place, and then subtracts
that from the following reflective measurement. This has the effect of
both compensating for any black level drift in the sensor, and subtracting
any stray light that is leaking into the aperture. But it's best to
minimize the latter.
