Hi there,

I'm new to Argyll, all I've done so far is measured an IT8.7 using Beta4
spotread.

It was a couple of months ago, but I can't remember having any trouble using
my i1 Pro after setting up the Udev rules for Debian Etch.

I've now downloaded Beta6 to try to do a scanner profile using the Eye-One Pro
Scan Target 1.4, so I thought I'd better just check that the device was
working, I did spotread -ii1 outfile.txt and all I get is the usage info and
back to the command prompt, same problem with printread, I did
printread -n -a i1_RGB_Scan_1.4
as suggested in the Docs

and also tried
printread -n -a -ii1 i1_RGB_Scan_1.4

The results are the same for Beta4 and Beta6, nothing.

Am I missing something in the command?

If not, things that may have changed are:

I've used the i1 on Windows using the latest i1match software and drivers.

Updates to Etch???

        udevmonitor gives the following output
