Right you are! Great guess. Display_type_base_id-field was missing. I added it. Thank heaven for emacs. Otherwise the Mac is so busy protecting me from myself I couldn't see what was in the file. So that got me at least one step farther. Now to see what happens next.

I'd guess that the .ccmx is old, and is either missing or has a wrong value for the
DISPLAY\_TYPE\_BASE\_ID field. It should probably be

DISPLAY\_TYPE\_BASE\_ID "1"

since I'm guessing it was made with the instruments LCD mode.

You can fix this by editing the .ccmx and adding the above line in the header
somewhere (i.e. below ORIGINATOR).
