Hi, I think this is just a manifestation of the problem that the Spyder 2 doesn't work through a hub. Some hardware includes secondary hubs on the MB, and if you plug into one of these, the instrument won't work. You need to plug it into a port that connects to a root hub. If there are no such ports accessible on your machine, then I think you are out of luck. [Technically I can only guess at what's going on. The Spyder 2 seems to get its toggle out of sync on data reads on Linux. It doesn't seem to do this on MSWin or OS X though. To work around this I issue a reset EP before each read on Linux. So a possible explanation is that the reset EP doesn't propagate through a secondary hub.] Graeme Gill.
