> I think .cal files will be good enough anyhow ;) Currently there are three steps in fully setting up a display: 1) Adjusting the controls tool: dispcal 2) Creating VideoLUT curves for calibration tool: dispcal 3) Characterizing the devices colorspace tools: targen, dispread, profile The next release of dispcal will allow you to skip 3), and create a shaper/matrix profile directly with dispcal, but you get a whole lot less flexibility that way, and so serious users will still use the third step.
