I created and successfully installed some profiles using dispcalGUI, but have
now run up against a problem I've not been able to solve. I can no longer
install or uninstall any profiles using dispwin -I, -L, or -U. Following is the
error I get with dipwin -E -I:

Checking XRandR 1.2 VideoLUT access
XRandR 1.2 is faulty - falling back to older extensions
get_displays checking for Xinerama
Display 0 name = ':0.0'
Opened display OK
dispwin_get_ramdac called
lexical error: invalid bytes in UTF8 string.
          /display/LG 2009-06-30 120cdm² D6500 min neutral 2.2 HQ LUT.
                     (right here) ------^
Installing profile
'/home/samsoar/.local/share/color/icc/devices/display/LGflatronCalProf.icc'
failed with error 7 'There was an error opening the config file'
Dispwin: Error - Failed to install profile
'/home/samsoar/.local/share/color/icc/devices/display/LGflatronCalProf.icc'!

I'm guessing this is related to allowing diswinGUI to create and install a
profile with special characters in the profile name. I can load and unload .cal
files, but not install and uninstall profiles. My color managed apps no longer
work with the installed profile either.

I am out of ideas on how to fix this and am hoping someone can help. Video card
is an Nvidia running the proprietary driver.

TIA,
Scott
