If I use Adobe Camera Raw to develop a picture of the Metairie target, I get excellent results visually and colprof reports minimal errors (I don't remember the actual figures, but it was something like 2-4 DE average, and 6-8 max).
I haven't found any settings for a linear conversion with dcraw that even get me in the ballpark. Average DE is in the high teens at best, and the results are obviously very far off. Color casts of all types abound, and everything else is so far off I don't even know where to begin to describe it.
Am I missing something obvious, or is this a hopeless cause? Cheers, b&
