Just to follow on with a connected topic, it appears that X-Rite have announced
a new version of the ColorMunki spectrometer, with the name "i1 Studio".
I don't actually have one, but from the information I've obtained so far,
it seems to be almost identical to the ColorMunki spectrometer, with the
exception of coming with different X-Rite software (Hmm. were they
worried that people were turning to other software to get the best
out of the ColorMunki ? :-) , but does have one change, which is
that they have changed the USB ID to the X-Rite range from the
Gretag-Macbeth range. So an minor update to ArgyllCMS is needed
to talk to the i1 Studio. I'll see what I can manage in the next
week or so.
