Could you get more clear about temperature sensitivity?

Silicon sensors have noise that varies with temperature.
So optical instruments will always be affected by temperature
unless they are temperature regulated, or temperature compensated.
Some non-laboratory colorimeters have temperature compensation
(DTP92/94), but few other instruments do. The i1pro and ColorMunki
rely on dark calibration to allow for temperature changes, and
when an instrument is sitting on a display for long periods
this is not possible.
