Hi !

It is a scanner made profile perhaps that makes the trouble.
I tried to compress the profile, but both gmail and freelist stopped it.
Here, the grey step dont seems to have any ifluence for this.

------------

targen -v -d4 -g 10 -c
sRGB_nobscl_032_D88_100224_00_Lidl_A4_PP_cmyk_LY.icm -f250
 tg_A4_LidlP_250
CMYK test chart
Compostie Grey steps = 10
Full spread patches = 250
Ink limit = 311.3% (underlying 311.3%)
Adaptation weights: Device = 0.350, Perceptual = 0.650, Curvature = 1.000
Perceptual cache resolution = 7
Acceleration grid res = 4

There are 10 unique fixed points to add (13 non-unique)
There are 237 far spread points to add
Added 247/247
After seeding points: MinPoint = 4.982, Min = 2.659, Avg. = 23.810, Max =
31.130, 6.8 secs
Re-seeding It 1: Maxmv = 0.227101, MinPoint = 9.521, Min = 4.087, Avg. =

Re-seeding It 2: Maxmv = 0.204825, MinPoint = 9.521, Min = 4.087, Avg. =

Re-seeding
targen: Error - Failed to re-seed the veronoi - too many node instertion
failures ?
