I'd recommend drawing down the samples on separate cards, cutting them out and collecting them on the chart.

If I go with inks, sure. But I'm thinking more along the lines of pastels -- much more pure pigment and no specular reflections. Not sure how they mix, though. Or maybe there's a way to get pure pigments and mix and apply them? I'll have to investigate....

There is a really inexpensive drawdown set: <http://www.thomassci.com/product/3321 >, but I don't know if it is good.

Thanks for the link -- I'll hang on to it. There are also printers in town who I imagine should have the ``real deal,'' and I might be able to swap a color profile for the use of theirs (or something)....
