That's all a bit strange. I would normally expect there to be an error message or some other symptoms if there is a malloc failure (ie. if a malloc fails and the software ignores the error, it's very likely that there would then be a segmentation fault when it tries to access it). I'll have to see if I can duplicate the problem.
P.S. I've cheched, the .ti2 is created last when windows pagefile is enabled.
It sounds a bit like something is going on in the operating system that the program is not aware of (disk write cache dropping pending buffers ?). Was there anything in the event log ? Graeme Gill.
