Pity the standards and compliance are all over the place at the moment though.
They are tripping all over themselves to introduce the next thing to
replace 3D and 4K ASAP, and haven't even got basic stuff right like the ability
to scale the brightness to suite the viewing environment, or standard ways to
calibrate the displays (i.e. reliable ways to turn the display brightness
re-rendering off).
