Generally speaking color calibrators become inaccurate with increased usage time
I recently purchased a spider x, it seems to be calibrated with the lens, I do
not know which has a longer life span, it or the spider 5
Also I found that when using the spider x calibration you need to close the lid
first to calibrate the spider x (using displaycal), but the spider 5 does not
need to, and the spider x does not need this step with the official software
(and the colors are different from displaycal), what is the difference
Also what environment should the color calibration be done in? Total darkness
or normal ambient light
