Are you sure it's not a viewing angle thing ? On the cheapy display on my Macbook it looks rather brown if you don't view a spot on the display from exactly the right vertical angle. It looks grey the way the instrument sees it, but in general the display vertical viewing angle is far too poor for accurate color rendition. Graeme Gill.
