it's much less important what the color temperature is, than how spectrally
continuous it is, and how uniform it is.
i.e. this sort of approach to measuring transparency is supported by ArgyllCMS,
(use chartread -t with the i1Pro) but I'm not sure an LCD display is a suitable
back light, both because the spectrum is likely to be highly bumpy, and because
LCD displays are typically rather pressure sensitive.
A good quality light box may be a better bet, or a second hand DTP41T.
