[argyllcms] Problems with spec2cie

Hello again
I have created some ramps for the C M Y colorants. I have created them
like this:
$printtarg -v -e -ii1 -r -pA4 cyan
I need to get the resulting ti3 file into Lab format to feed a very
nice spreadsheet Hal V. Engel have created.
When I run spec2cie with any options I get the following error.
$ spec2cie -f cyan.ti3 cyan-lab.ti3
Unknown: Error - Device has unhandled color representation 'C_XYZ'
Is it not possible to do this or have I created my ramp wrong.
